iPad for Artists 3 Day Workshop Level ONE
DATE:* Taking waitlist for Fall 2017 * TIME: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm each day LOCATION: Lantzville, BC, at my home studio COST: $250 LEVEL I : *beginner to intermediate iPad user 4 spaces only Discover what a powerful and FUN tool the iPad can be. Receive step by step instruction as you learn how to create using nothing but your iPad. We'll start by covering some iPad basics and work our way up to creating digital art from scratch! Along the way we'll cover photos and photo editing; what pixel and resolution mean and why they are so important; how to set a custom canvas size, using layers... and so much more!
Required for Level One:
iPad... any size... with an up to date operating system (preferably some version of iOS 9) that can run the apps listed below.
Stylus. Doesn't have to be fancy or expensive. Any kind will do, as long as it works with your particular iPad.
Notebook and pen/pencil.

DATE:* Taking waitlist for Fall 2017 * TIME: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm each day LOCATION: Lantzville, BC, at my home studio COST: $250 LEVEL II : *must have previously attended a Level One workshop or be comfortable working in layers using the Procreate app. 4 spaces only
We'll begin with some review, then pick up where we left off at the end of Level One as we dive back into creating digital art on our iPads. We'll dig deeper into apps like Procreate, learning new functions and tricks. We'll also cover "traditional" painting workshop topics like colour, composition, and collage...with a digital twist. We will also spend time learning how to get reliable results when printing straight from the iPad. Focus will be on working towards producing a finished piece.
Required for Level Two:
